About Me

Raised in small town Ontario – Bancroft, Ontario (the Mineral Capital of Canada) to be exact, I attended Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario where I completed a double major in Political Studies and History. After completing my degree I decided to pursue a Masters in Library and Information Studies at Dalhousie University where I completed a Reference and Technical Services internship at Dalhousie’s Killam Library.

After graduation, my husband and I moved to Guelph, Ontario where he is now pursuing a degree in Landscape Architecture. I currently work as the Blended Learning Librarian for the University of Guelph.

My personal interests include cooking, young adult fiction, yoga and crafting. I blog professionally at “becoming blended” (here) and personally at “what the librarian wore” (here).

I am present on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Slideshare, Tumblr (Personal)Tumblr (Professional) and Pinterest. Feel free to connect.
